Active Volunteers as of March 2013

Through the years, hundreds of people have volunteered a variety of services. During the first months of 2013, I attempted to contact everyone listed as a volunteer on the old site. Most email addresses resulted in delivery failure notices. Many did not respond to my email inquiry. Fortunately, enough of the previous volunteers did reply to publish this listing.

Colleen I am still ready and willing to help! I still do obits and directory lookups for a $2 per page fee.
For obituaries from the Chicago Tribune newspaper 1849-present and the Chicago Defender newspaper 1909-Sept 1967, requestor must provide first and last name plus month, day, and year of death.
Directories are only from 1861-1901, and I need a specific name to search for.
Barbara I am still willing to look up in Winnetka's 1946 New Trer High School yearbook. I have my father's year book.
Bart Lookups performed for a fee: Arlington Heights/Wheeling Cemetery ($2 per name), Altenheim Cemetery (in Forest Park, $1 per name), Eden Cemetery (in Schiller Park, $6 per name), St. John's Cemetery (on O'Hare Airport property in Chicago, $5 per name).
Beth I will do look-ups in the 1951, 1952, 1953, 1954, and 1955 Gage Park High School yearbooks.
David I graduated from St. Benedict High School (in Chicago) in 1962 and my brother in 1960. Our sister followed about 1969 or 1970. I can do lookups in the 1959, 1960, 1961, and 1962 yearbooks.
Denise I have one Hyde Park High School yearbook from 1919, and I would be happy to do a look up for you.

Joe I have all four St. Ignatius High School yearbooks for 1958, 1959, 1960 and 1961 in my possession.
Joshua I can search for obituaries in the newspapers available through the Chicago Public Library, as well as the Chicago Tribune (1852-Present). Requestor must provide surname, first name, and date (month, day, and year) of death. Fee of $2.00 per page. No cost if not found.
Kathleen I still have my 1941 and 1943 Englewood High School (Chicago) and 1960, 1961, 1962, and 1963 Bremen High School (Midlothian) yearbooks.
Molly I still charge $5 for Cook County (and statewide Illinois) death certificates that were issued between Jan 1, 1916 and Dec 31st, 1947. I still cover standard postage fees (within the U.S.) for any research requests that include 1916-1947 IL death certificates. I also do obits research (Chicago and statewide, for $5 for each newspaper searched. I don't have to snail-mail results; I can scan/email, and can receive payment through PayPal (additional fees may apply).
